Deduci App
A native iOS learning app that helps students turn voice memos into better questions for professors, reducing the gap between 'I know I am confused' and actually knowing what to ask.
Deduci Democv / resume
I like building systems that make people faster, less confused, and a little less annoyed. That means AWS work in government and enterprise environments, plus personal full-stack product work deployed on Railway with PostgreSQL behind it. I love a good API integration, I like using Unity to turn long mobile wait states into playable moments, and I am comfortable treating Snapchat Lens Studio as a real product skill instead of a gimmick.

Jr DevOps Engineer for Department of War and Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nuclear Sergeant at US Army
A native iOS learning app that turns lecture voice memos into sharper questions to ask a professor, because raw confusion is not the same thing as a useful office-hours question.
This project ties together SwiftUI, backend integration, AI-assisted workflow design, and the general belief that study tools should be more useful than the stuff that keeps getting paywalled. I also like Unity as a mobile game-development answer to long, costly de-dupe loads, because if a heavy backend pass is going to take time, I would rather turn that wait into something interactive than leave the screen dead.

A native iOS learning app that helps students turn voice memos into better questions for professors, reducing the gap between 'I know I am confused' and actually knowing what to ask.
Turned a class-project idea into a sharper product story with real deployment, real data handling, and a clearer reason to exist.
CBRN Sergeant / Readiness, training, and systems support
2020 - Present
Army work centered on readiness, training, equipment accountability, and technical support for systems that have to stay reliable when the job gets messy.
E5 with strong foundation in leadership, training, and technical troubleshooting of equipment in a variety of conditions with lots of sand.
ANC Operator / LED, replay, and live event systems
2023 - Present
Game-day operations work focused on LED signage, servers, playback, and the fast troubleshooting needed to keep live sports systems running cleanly.
Strengthened my comfort with live troubleshooting, operational timing, and keeping technical systems stable while the event is already in motion.
Credentials
Net+ and Sec+ certified with experience in Postgres and Redis
Background
This is not just a list of links. It is a compact explanation of the environments that shaped how I work.
Current junior DevOps engineering work supporting AWS cloud operations as a government contractor.
Built automation that connected Slack, ServiceNow, AWS Lambda, and Python services to reduce manual IT triage.
CBRN Sergeant responsibilities spanning readiness, training, technical support, and operational coordination.
Live NCAA operations plus a background that connects UCLA applied mathematics and biochemistry, Shawnee State University (SSU) simulation and gaming engineering, and athletics experience in SSU track and field and SSU cross country.
Academic and athletics background
B.S. in Digital Simulation and Gaming Engineering Technology, SSU track and field, SSU cross country, and linear algebra.
Applied mathematics and biochemistry at UCLA, alongside UCLA AFROTC experience.
Professional experience
This section focuses on work I did in professional environments, including the Root Insurance automation work connecting Slack, ServiceNow, and AWS Lambda.
IT Specialist II / Automation Builder / Internal platform and workflow engineering
February 2024 - March 2026
Built internal automation that turned Slack issue intake into structured ServiceNow ticket creation using AWS Lambda and a Python Flask service, with attachment support, decision-tree routing, and smarter handling for account lockout cases.
Reduced friction between user requests and IT operations while creating more structured tickets and more reliable training outputs in an enterprise environment, alongside broader AWS workplace experience relevant to government and enterprise solutions.
Profile
Across academics, athletics, product building, and technical contracting, the common thread is disciplined execution and clear communication.
Current government-contractor DevOps work focused on cloud operations, with prior Root Insurance automation work spanning AWS Lambda, Python Flask, Slack, ServiceNow, and internal training workflows.
I build games and products that reward focus and skill development rather than gambling-style feedback loops. Outside of work, I drink unreasonable amounts of yerba mate, run with my dog, and read Philip K. Dick novels by the beach.
Approach
The annoying, slow, or brittle part. Not a more abstract version of it.
Real users, live events, and bad days are the actual test.
